Introducing the Bucknell in Northern Ireland 2007 blog
Greetings! This is the blog for the Bucknell in Northern Ireland program 2007. Here is where you'll find news and updates on what's happening in our program at Magee College in Derry. We'll arrive in Derry on May 16th, and head back home on June 10th.

It has been a very busy first week! We have adjusted quickly to the time, food and culture differences. The students have been working very hard to complete their reading assignments and have been making the most of our time with speakers by asking lots of great questions. We have been able to visit some beautiful areas of Ireland such as the Giants Causeway. The group has been getting along very well and creating lots of new friendships. The first day of students' field placements were successful and exciting, and they are excited to see what Wednesday will bring. We are looking forward to our weekend trip to Connemara, and are hoping for good weather!
